Hi there
Years ago I painted a bunch of motorbike wheels with Kal Gard and cooked them in an over.....yielded a very durable and nifty result.
I know that Kal Gard is no longer available....
Has anyone used an epoxy paint with good results?
Powder coating is kinda pricy but more importantly, I don't want to leave the bike perched on jack stands for several weeks.
Thanks

I ran over something in the road at 70mph. The ST never waivered. Bent both wheels. Bought some used wheels to run till I got mine back from Framestraight. Had them powder coated gloss black. Really set the bike apart. Framestraight appears to do good work. I like what they did for me. But you will need spare wheels since they work at their own pleasure.

I used this one for everything. Wheels, calipers, even broken pannier. It's a very close match to factory black, very good coverage, fast dry, durable and no chips at all. It's $7.99 at autozone. The other one I'm going to use on headers. Two- three coats on wheel even without breaking the bead, just taped up the tie. I'm very satisfied.
