Brittany or Springer?
Britt - been lucky to have two really good ones - here is Nuggets predecessor Jester - lost him at 9yrs to congestive heart failure. Broke my heart & it took me 3 years before I was ready for another.
There are only two things wrong about dogs - one is you get too attached and the other is they don’t live long enough...

Another plus for a dog , Max , despite only being a 10 lb Havanese dog , ( see #12 ) , alerted us to the beginning of a flood in our basement after a 4" rain in an hour , After filling 2 dry wells , water was coming in under a basement door & around basement windows , silently to us but he detected it on main floor & was barking at the top of basement stairs . Saved us a lot of damage since we could respond .

Our "miracle mutt" Skye. She's about 14 now:

Our cat that I affectionately call "Stupid". I think she is smarter than she lets on. She stays home while I go to work...

And Breann's Dalmatian pup, Leo. He is certain that he is a lap dog!FB_IMG_1573248114708.jpg

What is it about dogs -I simply cannot imagine my life without a dog. When I lost my little Sophie a couple of years ago - It simply tore me up inside. I got another pup, Lucy who's wonderful but I still grieve about Sophie. I walk by her grave almost every night - I find myself talking to her. You probably think I'm nuts.

This is Pono. We got him from the shelter in Feb of 2020. He's a 70 pound rambunctious good dog, and I'm not sure what he is. At times he looks like a Jack Russel on steroids, some Pit Bull, but he's got webbed feet of a Lab. He has a few scars and I think he was used to hunt pigs.

His life is a lot easier now.7F4E4C7C-06B6-483F-AB06-049365CBE5D4.jpeg
