Pilot Road Mileage?

I couldn't find any front PRs when I needed new skins, so I went with the BT021's. I'll be going with the PR2's, which are supposed to be available by late summer, next tire change.

If you're looking for PR's you might try Moto X Outlet. They show $100 for the front, $121 for the rear, $25 shipping so about $246 for a set.

The Avon Storm's I've bought from them were about $10 cheaper. Delivery took 3 or 4 days.

5k on Pilot Roads and replaced them due to cupping. If I had ignored the cupping I could have gone 10k or more, but the bike's rear end starts wandering when the tires are cupped and I didn't want that going on while I was riding the dragon.

2k on the Avon Storms now and I love them. Remains to be seen how they will hold up re: cupping.

I've got about 12K on my current Pilots and they have plenty of rubber left on them. Great tires in my book, especially with Seattle's rainy weather.

Same here, or a little more,,,11500 miles on my Battlax's. Getting Pilot Roads put on tomorrow. And I still got most of my brakepads left,,,,,,

And they are now wore out at 27k. Got a new set of PR's put on yesterday.

I put the Pilot Roads on just before my trip last September around NoCal with my Brother Dave. I really like them. I had to replace the rear after only 5K because of a huge (1/4" in diameter) shaft of somesort went through at an angle. I replaced my front with over 9K three weeks ago. I think when I have to replace the rear again, I'll replace both at the same time. :)

Dave just had PRs put on his ST1300 about a month ago and loves them. Especially after riding through the old Gold Country this last weekend! :)

Re: About 600 miles if your get a nail in them

i got 23,000km on a set and i wasn't at the wear bar yet...I replaced them because a trip was upcoming...on went BT020's and out those Bridgestones went 11,000km later...LOL
