They are also used on the bottom of the fork tubes.
They also happen to be the very same washers Showa uses on the rear shock preload adjuster line

REPLACE both 6mm copper sealing washers (it will leak if you reuse the old ones, trust me on this).

One can also anneal the copper washers and quench them in water, this softens them and they'll be good for reuse. Used washers are work hardened, there's a good chance they'll leak without annealing.

11 and 13 click settings leaves me/us with measured 25-30mm sag.

Will a 'dry' adjuster not cause excessive sag, leading to difficulty getting the bike on the center stand? I had a similar problem on my '82 Gold Wing GL1100 when the air pressure in the rear shock was too low.
