When I return from tomorrow's lunch ride (around a hundred miles roundtrip) I'll have 13,000 miles on the Michelin Pilot Road 4 GTs. There's still tread left, but they're getting a bit squared off. I have a set of Road 5 GTs sitting in the garage waiting for Thursday's maintenance session.

13k miles is nearly twice as far a rear PR4GT will take our ST, yes you got your monies worth

I hear you! I got around the same from my PR4 on my FJR1300. On the front I get a little less though. With all other brands I have tried, it's the opposite. I recently did an advanced riding course on a racing track, so I don't expect my current pair to last that long. That training really ate some rubber, especially on the sides!

That's pretty good. I had 10K on my PR4 rear when I installed a new tire just on principle. I probably had another thousand or two.

Lots of long-distance cruise on my end. I'm a high-miler, not a haul-asser.

I just changed my rear tire; PR4GT, 16600ish km (~10 000 miles); was down to the wear bars and squaring off.

Made 13k on my first set of 4’s. Didn’t have our size on 5’s when they came out. Bought another pair of 4’s. Got 10k on those. Would have gotten more but the rear was nail magnet that year. Had lots of tread left though. Have about 2600 on 5’s. Love them.

Wow that's amazing! I know what the the next set of shoes for STella will be. I've got about 6k on a set of Dunlops on her now; they're ok but worn pretty well. I'm writing home if I get 3k out of the Pirellis on the Tuono lol.
