Question about Kaoko Throttlelock install

Hi All,

I did a few searches, but I couldn't find a definitive answer. I just installed a Kaoko cruise control and used the thrust washer that was provided, however, after reading some threads, I think that is only supposed to be used when I have heated grips (which I don't).

Am I supposed to be using that thrust washer? And if so, which direction does it face (narrower portion towards the throttlelock or the center of the bike)?

Narrower portion towards the grip.

As far as I know, you'll want that washer with or without heated grips.

Grip type doesn't matter.
