Didn't know about them until today. I ordered the Honda ones from DSS on Tuesday and they were dispatched yesterday, so should be here tomorrow.

It's cold and blowy and snowy here since Paddy's Day, so kinda glad to be in the car, despite the extra 45 mins commuting time.

I'll take a few pics when I'm putting it back together for reference and sharing.

So I stopped at the bearing supply place in town to check on SKF sealed bearings......$109 each! No thanks! Just ordered some OEM bearings.

After pulling my rear wheel and checking the bearings I found they are perfectly smooth. I also ordered new drive cushions but they don't look worn.

For you guys that have replaced the cushions, did they look worn? I do notice slight play when rotating the hub. I'm wondering if new ones do the same.

re drive cushions
Not really play when up on the centerstand, but I noticed more of a 'clunking' when pulling away at shifts.... replaced rubbers and all was well ( an st1100 with 90k )
They also came out easier then the new going in!

I ordered new cushions for spring maintenance. They are sitting on the bench still but I can compare them when I swap them on the 1300.

I should have mine later this week but was debating just putting everything back together since they didn't look worn. I guess I'll just wait and compare. They definitely pop right out of the whee easily.
I'm feeling the play with the wheel off the bike just turning the hub back and forth.

Well, I can tell you the cushions were worn compared to the new ones. No more play and it was actually hard the get the hub back on. I had to use a rubber mallet to get it seated.
