What are you paying and who is rebuilding your OEM shock? I may have found a reasonable alternative, but want to see whats what.

The OE shock isn't rebuildable in its original state. However it can be made into a rebuildable unit by Race Tech.
You'll need to call them for a price, but I think it is $500 including a new spring that will be specific to your weight and riding style. (If you are conservative and 165 lbs the factory spring is OK.)
