Ride up to Walhalla SC north of Clemson and get on NC28. Ride it 100 miles north to the foot of Deals Gap where it intersects US129. Ride over the Tail of The Dragon and keep going along the lake. At Talhassee bear left on NC 72 and take it to the intersection of 72 and 411, turn left on 411 and go the few miles to Venore TN. Take the left turn onto TN 360 and go to Tellico Plains where you get on the Cherohala Skyway. I don’t remember the TN designation but the Skyway crosses back into NC and becomes NC 143. Follow that to Robbinsville NC. Through Robbinsville you’ll run back into 28. That loop takes in the most famous twisty roads in the Eastern USA.
