I'm just finishing up my Rostra 250-1223 electronic cruise instal on my '04 13. I used the 25-3592 control pad. I got them both from Ebay. I used the Centrodyne Z063 pulse divider from Centrodyne. The settings for it are under its cover. There is very small writing inside that show the different "divide by" positions to put the jumper on.
I was able to turn the control head with the dip switch window facing rearward and made a small opening in the left glove box to access the settings with the left cowl on. I made a cover for it.
I used momentary switches from Radio shack in the right throttle housing for set and resume functions.
I made a simple plate to go under the existing throttle cables attachments. (be sure to readjust throttle cables ).
I'm still fiddling with the settings hoping to get it perfect but it works well already.

I used the Trailtech 8500RS switch pod on my '96 NH750ST. I used the center switch as a 'cancel' button by triggering a tiny cube relay to ground the clutch-switch wire.

Good job, it's no mean feat installing the rostra CC but very satisfying, always surprised how much I use mine, works great
