The pic of the 850 shows a sprocket on the rear...but I agree with you. Weight would be higher though...

I sat on a 1000 with full bags and it made my ST feel dainty. I'd be very interested in the 850 if they can keep it to a decent weight.

Weight would be higher though...

Which might be something of a small penalty when doing actual ADV riding but for somebody shedding the weight of an ST that shaft is low and would barely affect the CG.

Coupled with light weight and a low(er) CG I'd like to see a little lower seat height than the ST's lowest position.

Yes. Why are they making all of thes ADV bikes for NBA players? One needs a step ladder to mount them!

You need that tall suspension so you can take it off road! Or at least look like you can.

And THAT's why there are SUVs and trucks with lift kits running standard street tires.
