News folks have been talking up the coming Total Eclypse for the last few days, to the point that I think I'll just walk out into the back yard and see what I can see from here. It won't be total, but I won't have to drive North with a million other sightseers, either. I was one of them in '17 on the Cherahola, so I think I checked that box.

A bit late with this but aren't you glad you made that choice (assuming you stuck with it- I'm four days behind in Coffee Club reading so I don't know what went on Sunday, Monday, or Tuesday)? My brother in Boston sent a link to a story about the thousands of travelers who pulled traffic-induced all-nighters in their car, trying to leave Maine.
