Do any of you know whether the Harley Davidson version of Sena units will Mesh with Sena units?

Specifically, whether the H-D 50C will communicate with Sena 50S and 30K?

Everything I could find is from years ago, and no definite answer.

Do you know this as a fact, or is it a guess?
It's a guess but I can't see anything special w/HD other than a typical audio system that accepts a bluetooth connection like most cars/motorcycles that have built in audio.

Sena mesh is Sena mesh... should not matter at all.

The only issue with the mesh is there was firmware update that if you did not have it, your mesh would not communicate with those that did have the update.
I'm in a situation where one of 30Ks will not accept the update so it is a 'brick' as far as Sena mesh goes.

That's a bummer.

Do you know the necessary update number(s) in question?

Nope, I just remember it was the 'latest' one Sena had put out for the 30K.
3 of 30ks took it just fine - the 4th one did not regardless of the method I used.
Sena's Tech support on the topic was about as useful as socks on a rooster. ;)
I'm not saying that would be the case with the HD Sena, but it is something to consider.
At the end of the day, the only real way to know is to test the HD one with someone that has a 30K or 50 updated.

Actually, I do. I'm thinking about how to try them with only myself and only one helmet.

I'll give it a try after I eat something and settle down.

Thank you guys. I managed to put the units on the clips and tried it. I had paired each unit with the phone and the Sena apps before, but actually hadn't tried the intercoms or Mesh at all yet.

I first made sure they were on open Mesh ch. 1, then spoke into one mic at a time, and I could hear my voice from the other one. Yay! They are indeed compatible. You were right, Joe. :thumb:

However, one interesting thing is that the H-D 50C requires the H-D BoomAudio manager to update.

The Sena manager will not recognize the H-D unit, but the H-D manager looks and works identically.
