. I discoveres i made is that im on glaciers doorstep. Im giving serious thought to spending a day there putzing around.
You can't do any of Glacier, You need a road pass. If you get there when they open you might get lucky and some may be available.

Last night i was pretty damn proud of myself! Found a nice campsite, sans fires, and set my tent up like a pro... i thought. Well the rain came! After all, i am in americas rain forest it seems. The rain fly wasnt completely down, the top air flaps were open, and , i left the front door open because the air smelled soooo good!
I believe noah floated by with his pets sometime during the night!
Yup, im soaked. Heading for a laundro mat.
I should be mad, but i guess this tour should be titled “ rolling with the punches”. I just laughed at me, geared up and hot the road at sunup.
Almost cliped a deer yesterday and they are all over the place this morning.
This car pulled into the gas station this morning!FC13530A-18E6-47F5-B064-9761BECB7154.jpeg300B4FB4-A85A-4F21-BD81-D11E725E181A.jpegAE1CAACC-BDC3-4C01-A12D-7B320EB0D086.jpegE6ED30AB-3B7E-40FA-BBF3-8D5F34658E2C.jpeg

I guess Idaho is in the rinse cycle now. You made great time today. There are some real nice roads in Idaho; maybe on the way back? (the biggest lie one tells oneself on the road). Great pictures. Hope you have no rain tonight.

Today was great! Rain, fog and deer in the morning but it wasnt long before the sun came out. I bave these el cheepo home depot black rubber gloves and wore them all day. It felt so nice to have the sun hit them and warm the backs of my hands. I hit the highlands and there were little dust tornados and tons of seeinf forever. Very peaceful. Got some wind gusts but id be a bit selfish if i complained after 500 mi of rain.
Im in couley city camping. Its not that great but again, it aint rain.
My shower sandals are squishing water as i walk around! Guess things got a bit wet last night.
This whole trip has been filled w wonderfull people asking me questions. Quite a gift!F2773AB5-83A4-4E87-A776-EFB2E70E9283.jpeg27B1A305-35C3-4A20-86AC-AAFB69AC53CF.jpeg
