Silly Ram Ball Question

I have a Garmin Nuvi 200W GPS that I was hoping to install on my bike.
How are the balls measured? Like lumber?
The factory cradle ball is less than 3/4 inch?
All the ram balls call for one inch?
Do I need a new cradle for my application?
I feel really dense.

This site (http://www.gpscity.com/ramholga21.htm) says the RAM mount will fit around the Garmin mount like an adapter. If you have a RAM cradle already... I would bet it will be compatible will all the other RAM stuff. I had to buy a diamond shaped plate from RAM to mount to my Garmin 276C cradle... no big deal.
