Anyone know if SSR or Slingshot Racing is still a viable business? I have called several times with no answer and two emails with no response. From my vantage point they are not. Can anyone confirm or deny?

This is their site.

That's a tough one... usually when a business goes away their website dies after a few years... but that one is active as far as that is concerned. Their facebook site looks like not a lot of activity since 2014 but I don't use FB so maybe someone can confirm that.

They have an ebay store with recent reviews:

I used to buy lots of their stuff from vendors like Motosport or Sportbike Track Gear. But those outfits no longer carry SSR. Maybe they've gone to direct sales only?

They haven’t posted on their Facebook page since 2014, so I’ll take a wild guess at saying they’re closed. They could have at least said goodbye.

Well that stinks. I can't stand the rearward opening of the OEM keyless gas cap on the '18 BMW GSA. I've found two sites (Slingshot Racing & Pirate's Lair) that made or carried a very simple and attractive twist off cap and both of them are kaput. I had one from SSR on my ST1300 and loved it.

Thing I liked about SSR gas cap was large-diameter lid. Made screwing it off and on much easier with my old arthritic hands! :)

Note that many of these aftermarket caps require 2 gaskets to seal with tank. I used only one when fitting 1st time, seems ok. Then when under max-braking going into turn-2 at Laguna Seca, I lost about 1.5-gallons of gas that sloshed out between tank and cap!!!

It doesn't look like they are. Just tried to reach them out again and no luck.
Last month sent them few microsoft teams sms and again - nothing in return.
It is a pity if they closed to be honest, i've been their client for some time.
