Rally Master Rob Lightner is really pulling out all the stops to create a great inaugural SNAFU Rally.

His latest update on it's blog site now has a Primmer on Rallying. Intended for riders new to rallying, it's also a fun read for experienced rally riders. I know I enjoyed it.

If you've wondered what a "Motorcycle Rally" is, check it out and consider joining in this November.

Haven't read this yet, but there's still time.
Pretty sure I won't be emulating (Rob Nye?) the "spaceship" cockpit of an IBR a few years ago.
@Shuey will know who I'm talking about.

. . . "Nye" is correct. :)

There's 20 riders signed up so far for this inaugural rally. Many of them first time rally riders ready to have a good time.

Not to late to sign up and Rally Master Rob says if anyone can't decide until the last minute and just shows up on Friday, 5Nov21 . . . he'll register them. However, T-Shirt order cut off is 10 October though.

Lot's of fascinating bonus locations await.

The inaugural SNAFU Rally is over and it turned out . . . great!

Here's the finishing results. Note, the scoring difference between 1st and 2nd place was . . . 2 points! If it would have been a tie, the winner would have been the one with the fewest miles. In this case that would have been . . . 1 mile! Scott and Billy compared notes at the end and determined they visited all the same bonus locations except one which accounted for the 1 mile difference. Congratulations to all the finishers who, without exception, exclaimed at scoring what a great time they had. I'm sure next year will be even better!
