Ken, this is the shelf I have. It works great, allows you to see your speedo, etc. and is quite durable. I've had it on the last couple of ST's I've owned. I covered the top with one part of the velcro pair which allows me to velcro stuff to the shelf such as my radar detector.

However, you might try a WTB on ST-Riders and MY-MC... lots more long-time (did someone say: "DuSTY') ST1100 riders there. Also, maybe the LDriders list. If you get an unpainted one, SEM 'Graphite' is an excellent match for the ST gray plastic, BTDT.]
