st1100 Corbin Smuggler

Does anyone know if a smuggler can be used with a Givi top box mounting plate installed?
I'd like to be able to use a top box for longer trips or when carrying the wife, but use a smuggler when riding solo.
Not sure if there is enough room.

For 1100, yes. Don't know about the 1300.

My GIVI top box fits with the Smuggler on the 1300. You have to remove the top box to open the Smuggler.

I relocated my top box a little further rear-ward so that I don't have to do that. Leaving it in this configuration would seem rather inconvenient to me.

I view it as added security. So far I have only kept tools in the smuggler so I rarely open it. I may actually sell it as I have trouble getting my old leg over it!!.
