You may like this one! Don’t forget who you got this from.
Ok this a first for me. Bought an ST1100 low miles at 43,000 yr registered 2000 an old girl now. I wanted to fit a usb charging point and sat nav.
where do they go without looking wrong and my making holes that don’t want.
mum an engineer and like developments. Here’s one I won’t make any money from it so you guys can make your own. It’s self explanatory as I used the profile on the windscreen inner panel and existing screw holes to fix it in. Got the mounting tube powder coated. Side plates 3mm thk profiled to suite. 25mm tube. Make side plates then screw them to sides measure distance between mark tube and cut. Tack side plates to tube lined up of course and weld them up. Clean up and paint or powder coat. .482296EE-0D34-4839-8044-80F4C25F097B.png032526C5-13B4-40A3-9962-C00D36FCFCFE.png

That looks awesome @Nickcrl !

Many of us have made use of those screws for the same purpose with great success. Yours may be the first I've seen that was based on round stock rather than a flat platform. But round stock opens lots of opportunities to use many existing mounting systems.

Nice job!

That is really nice. Not having access to fab equipment, nor necessarily the talent, might ask around locally for someone who could build something similar. Thanks for posting!
