ST1100 Seat issues......

I have looked for days on information about lowering my seat height on my 2001 st1100.
What seat offers the best solution? Looking to drop height a minimum 1". Riders that have real experience with this issue, please enlighten me on which seat you use and how much seat height it changed.... I'm 5'8" 230lbs, inseam 29" roughly.... just need the bike to be a little lower for my feet.

I had (have) the same challenge. I found an OEM seat that had been shaved down and I have been using it for many many years. Also had a Works Shock that was leaking and had to be rebuilt and I asked them to put in a shaft that was 1" shorter. So now the bike fits me or I fit the bike.
The only problem with the shorter shock is that the rear wheel nut doesn't line up with the muffler to pull the wheel off.
