The other day I changed my fuel pump, I started with 3 bars showing on the fuel gauge. I found that by attaching a line to the fitting from the return line, (starting out with it held high) 20230510_172143.jpg20230509_151637.jpgwhen you lower it below the level of the lower tank, it will siphon almost all the gasoline from the lower tank. When you remove the rubber line from the fitting, gas will start flowing, so be ready. When it stopped, less than an inch was left in the lower tank. I used a 5 gallon gas can to catch it, and filled it about ⅔

Are you attaching a hose to the one you pointed to, or putting your siphon hose into the lower tank?
Wait... something has to be in the tank...

LoL....yeah attaches to the silver fitting (factory hose already off in picture), that tube goes down to the steel wool looking filter at bottom of the pump mount

BTDT!

Yeah, if you have a full tank(s), make sure you have a VERY large gas can available! Or two five gallon ones...LOL
