• ST1300/ST1300A Pan European introduced in Europe and Australia
• Pan Colors: Amazona green metallic; Tower silver metallic; Candy ambassador Red
• Recalls: High Speed Stability, Oil Pan

2003

• ST1300/ST1300A introduced in US
• Non-ABS version also does not include the power windshield
• ST Color: Tower Silver
• Pan Colors: Tower silver metallic; Candy ambassador red
• Chassis modifications to correct high-speed wobble on 2002s
• Heavier fins on oil pan
• Recalls: Brake PCV, Ground Cap, Wire Harness

2004

• ST1300P introduced to the law enforcement market
• ST Color: Pearl Coronado Blue
• Pan Colors: Digital silver metallic; Pearl Coronado blue; Candy graceful red; Shasta white (P model only)
• Power windshield standard equipment on all models
• Heat-related changes:
• Metal heat shielding over headers in lower cowl
• Vent holes in tip-over wings
• A number of other minor engineering changes which can be found by reading the service manual and the Parts Catalog.
• Recalls: Brake PCV, Ground Cap

2005

• ST Color: Candy Graceful Red (marketed in the US Candy Dark Red)
• Pan Colors: Pearl Coronado Blue, Candy Graceful Red, Digital Silver Metallic, Shasta white (Police model only)

• Tool kit reduced to a single hex wrench and a piece of foam.

• ABS tone wheel design changed from toothed to flat with holes.
• Covers added to voids in frame below side covers.
• Maintenance cover panel fasteners changed from plunger-type to screw-type
• Improved drainage on secondary master cylinder bracket (new part is 06454-MCS-G02)
• Added float to front brake master cylinder (P/N 45523-MN5-006)
• Changed the water pump weep hole to a fitting with a hose that runs to the bottom of the bike. (xyzzy - Need new part number)
• 30mm longer fork compression damper pistons
• Different ECM
• Front Brake Pads Changes - new part number: 06455-MCS-R02
• Added more catalyst to the muffler, making them hotter and more expensive to replace
• Added lower side covers to help keep the heat down from the "improved" mufflers(catalyst)
• Recalls: Rear Brake Hose

2009

• No known changes from 2008.
• Recalls: Rear Brake Hose

2010

• No known changes from 2009.
• Recalls: Rear Brake Hose

2011

• No known changes.

2012

• No known changes.

2013, 2014, 2015

• Only Police model available in the U.S.
• No known changes.

First Pan European I ever saw was NAS Rota Spain in 2003 it was the Amazona Green. It was beautiful. Would love to find one

Joe, the front brake pads part number for the 08 and later have been updated to -R02

2004-2007 Civilian ST 1300 and 2009-2017 ST 1300 PA PN 45510-MCS-761
2008-2013 Civilian ST 1300 PN 45510-MCS-305

I'm not sure what all changed with these, I do know the 08 and up civilian bikes had different brake levers and piston actuating bits as well as a change to cylinder body for brake lever attachment.

It turned out to be a nice day, I should have gone riding.
