Article [13] ST1300 - Replacing the Clutch Slave Cylinder seals-Video

I have a much easier, and faster method.
Takes me about 45 minutes, which includes the flush and bleed afterwards.
You just need a couple special hand tools, a center jack or floor jack.
It’s all about having the correct tools, and using the correct approach.

Oh!

The video is great, but was puzzled because I couldn't imagine how my local Honda mechanic was able to do all of that on my ST in less than one hour!

Now we know it's possible. Thanks, ST Doctor!

That video did quite a few things the difficult way.
It would have been much easier with a different approach and tools.
Just saying.
Just because someone is doing something for the first time, and videoing it, does not make it the easiest or best way to approach matters.

Great post Mr. cjames, I had a close look into your valuable tip and found a slightly easier way of getting to that 8mm bolt...

Lets hope it all goes well!

All done, I note you only need to undo that bolt a few turns to provide enough wiggle room along the pipe to get the banjo back in.
I reckon you saved me a truckload of time and skinned knuckles!
