Hi. Need to remove my 2007 st13 upper tank so i can fill with white vinegar as quite a lot of rust there. Been standing and not full. Worried about the finicky upper petrol fload as that would need to be moved. Also is thate a fuel filter anywhere?

Simple job to remove the top tank sender but you'll need to replace O-Ring: eBay item number:185073334171

You might consider some of the phosphoric acid treatments. I think they are more aggressive than vinegar. Not sure what is available on your side of the pond.
Besides, the rust will give the vinegar an 'off' taste on your salad.

But on the flip side, you can quit your iron supplements...Besides, the rust will give the vinegar an 'off' taste on your salad.

Four nuts on the underside of the upper tank. You should order a new O-ring to reinstall it.
