And that's what I had ordered.

But, if you plan on swapping out your saddlebag locks, you better order the following parts too!

#4 x 2
#9 x 1
#20 x 1

And here is why... I have yet been able to remove those two pieces without destroying them...Well, I have hammered the brackets back into shape, they are pretty soft, but the spring gets destroyed when taking it off.

I see that, but some of the time when I get a bike to rebuild the bags are gone and need to just get them to key like the rest of the bike.
I have never removed the ignition lock from the top bridge as they use a 8MM one way bolt. I'm assuming that it has to be removed with a easy-out or try to cut a slot for a screw driver.

No, I have removed those ignition bolts and reused them. I did have one strip out on me and I drilled off the head and after removing the ignition switch, I was able to pull the rest of the stud out without issues. i have pictures of that someplace...

I found them...

OK,,, What did you use to remove the bolts?
They have a spiral thread like head. Did you tap in a hex?

I have talked to only one guy and he didn't sound to interested in re-keying it.
I could send you one of mine to but I'm under the gun to get a bike ready by this weekend and then I'm off to Tennessee to pick up another 06 1300.

I was looking at your pictures and I have to ask, does the powerlet cap have the center logo from the 1100 handle bar cover?

It's from the ST1300 handlebar cover. they are about $5 if I remember right.

The problem is, each of the locks are a bit different. Some are several tumblers and some are just one I think. I have the lockset from the 2010 (missing the pocket) and the lock set from the '05 (missing the gas cap - replaced that set back in 2011.)

Well, it's the one (2010) I bought a year ago and first restored with the plastic off the 2004. It now has it's own blue plastic! Like it much better than the black! ;)

What did you do with the black plastic.

This is the only black plastic I got with it...

But it looks like I'll be turning this new 2004 that I just bought black.
