Does my new to me 2006 ST1300 have 37564 miles or 237564 miles. I can’t believe Honda put such a limited odometer on the ST!!!

Check the wear on the brake disks. Check the service records, MOT (or equivalent) documents. In the UK we can see these on-line now.
Find out where a previous owner had it serviced, they may be able to help with service records.
