I went for a run today, lovely weather at last, but I was waiting at a temporary traffic light , on an uphill slope, when I tried to get into gear , but I lost balance to the right side, and went over, getting trapped by my right leg . I was rescued by several people and two ladies, mother and daughter, looked after me and called an ambulance. Part of the fault was a pair of mittens, very warm but no use at all for riding, Ex Dutch Army , but how do they fire rifles? The paramedic said I was okay and fixed the loose damage with Elastoplast (Band-Aid to you in the USA) . Now I have to repair the mirror assembly. Is there any glue to fix the plastic bodywork?

yes, there are some road works there, and seem to be there for ever. Two sets of lights in about 1/2 a mile , very annoying and on an incline which is bad for us bicycleists.
