Jim, I'm at 3800 happy miles. Funny, this tire does not look 1/2 gone:D

We just passed 80k darkside miles, not long until we hit 100k! Another ride around the block for George and we'll make it :rd13ug:

Hmmm, front is nearly cooked but has a few more miles left. The rear, tho it has many miles left, is a lot more used than I expected at this point. Trailer towing? The original pics were taken at ~3000 miles, the second at 13000+

George - is that the Austone? Any regrets about the taller tire? Will you be replacing it with the same?

Just over 14,000 miles on my Hankook tire and it still has some life in it. I have gone through two front tires so far with this rear one a PR2 and the last a Metzler Z6 Interact that lasted 7800 miles.

Especially in the rain!

this is one place where I'm a bit concerned about the Goodyears. the Hankook sticks like glue in the rain...not sure I want to give that up while I'm living up here in wet country.

Does anyone have any pics of a Hankook when they opted to retire it from service? I have been wondering what to look for being I don't have wear bars like on a MT.

That was my thought about that photo. I asked Mike if it would go to 24k. It might have.
I've got about 1200 miles on a Hankook.
Mine now has 21968 and more tread then that tire had. I'm shooting for 25,000.

That tire looks like it has more life in it. Must have been anxious to try the Goodyear. :)

If you look at the tire was just to the wear bars. I was very hard on that tire trying to wear it out or break it! I have seen Ken's (zooker13) Hankook tire with over 25,000 miles on it and it had more rubber left then mine. I was amazed at how thick this tire still was when I removed it from the ST. Compared to a MT you could have got more miles out of it. After my experiance with MT showing cords with that amount of rubber on it when I left for a RTE up north I get just a little nervous so that is why I changed it out.
