Last October during my MS5000 ventures, I took the Goldwing down into a draw near the Rio Grande. I made a number of bad decisions taking that bike where I took it, and looking back on it I'm glad that I was able to keep my head about me and get out safely. I was by myself, and things could've turned Very Bad in a heartbeat.

Watching that video reminded me of that time.

He's free to do his thing, but I've been there, done that, and concluded "Nope".

Years ago, I rode my Nighthawk through the woods to the edge of a lake and back.

Really no different than slow riding through a non-paved campground.
