Lot of good bikes out there. But, like ST's, its not a young bike. Almost 50k miles on it, 10 years old, and its more or less a naked bike. Does saddle bags mean soft bags or BMW's hard cases?

It shows the mounts for BMW hard cases.

If you are interested in something like this what’s not to like? 240 lbs lighter than an ST, 385 lbs lighter than the Wing, 100+ hp with an accessible torquey power band, great suspension and brakes. The fairing is nostalgic and evokes emotion. You won’t pull into the gas station and see a lookey like.

If you are able to handle the maintenance it’s easy to work on. Financially if you can handle a risk of a worst case thousand $ in the drivetrain what’s the downside?

A r1200r is a really nice bike. You probably already know but if you are looking to add the factory side bags they are expensive new or used.
