A friend of mine helped me check and adjust the valves on the new to me 07 ST I picked up a few months back. Translation he did it. He said the exhaust side was pretty tight. Also said the throttle bodies appeared to have been removed at one point. Is there any reason for the throttle body to removed? The bike seems to be building too much pressure as oil is entering the air filter area quit a bit. The level is right in the glass. I will run it at bottom and see what happens. He has been working on bikes for 40 years for a living and said it appeared the bike had a lot of gray hair for the amount of miles. Basically saying the miles and what he was seeing wasn’t adding up. Said it Must really get hot inside as stuff was pretty brittle in there. Radiator cap was toast too.
Here is the numbers. Changed the coolant and air filter along with new washers and gaskets etc. reminds me I need to order a new cap.
Both the start stop switch and the turn signal switches were shot. Replaced those as well. The start stop switch is hard to get. Back ordered with no eta. Found one on Ebay luckily.
Guess there is room for one more adjustment if needed in 15k miles? 7FEEB293-5446-4AD6-8F5D-674AE9CA152F.jpegE4BE5D35-115B-4C02-812F-D824418284AB.jpeg7862D66D-7177-41E7-BA61-C7CFB6630469.jpeg237EC231-2807-4F39-AE8B-83B0BEC14A98.jpeg
