First, I have tire gauge system on my bike, so my tires are always properly inflated. The tire was way past its life, the issue as I stated was that how I park the bike in the garage every time I looked at the tire I really only saw the right side. I noticed the left side when I was out and approached the bike from the other side. And I drove it home and immediately ordered a new tire. I am now leaning towards maybe uneven forks, as I once had a leak that a bike shot repaired. Maybe they did not do it right. I will have to investigate it further.

I liked Avons on my last bike, but the rear Avon I put on in 2010 had a blow out. I just pulled into Wintrop,WA and was looking for a hotel on a gravel road and pop.
I've seen 19,000 out of a front tire (Bridgestone BT023 GT). Just catch your tire changeout on the front a little earlier and you'll be grand with it on the front.
