I have been a darksider on 2 VTX's for 7 or 8 years now. Getting time to replace the old steed. (50,000 miles) never would have guessed that a CT would work on a ST. On the VTX cornering with a CT is not a problem as I am now on my 5th set of pegs.
My playground is Arkansas so riding fast twisty well paved roads is common. I once put sportbike pegs on my VTX to gain a little more corning clearance. Dragging these pegs at 90 mph+ on fast sweepers had me all the way to the edge of the tire. My buddy behind me thought I was going to run out of tire and bust my ....
