At 11,400 miles the rear tire has juST STarted showing its wear bars.

I'm aware of moST of the many tire poST's here - and have no intereST in STarting another.

I've enjoyed the ride, performance and wear on this my 2nd set of Dunlop D220's.

My queSTion is: Should I replace with the same or is there another I should STrongly consider?

Many thanks.

If that tire works for you, OK. Almost every day there is a thread about tires, but essentially you want to stick with tires dimensions that are specfically recd. for our wheels. If you like Dunlops, try the Roadsmart. Also, Michelin has a dual compound tire, Avon Storms are great. I ride Conti Road Attacks. They have a plush feel with great grip at varying tire pressures, so they ride about the same thru a wide range of temps.

My Dunlop D220's started to show wear bars at about the same (11,200). I changed to Bridgestones (BT020F) at 12,000, still felt like I could have got another 500 miles out of the Dunlops but I'd pluged the rear about 2500 miles ago and thought not to chance it too much.

Just changed them at the end of September (3 weeks ago) and only have about 1200 miles on the new set of Bridgestones (BTO20F). I like them.
