Glad you’re not hurt…as for the ST, you might be able to source a new lower fairing on eBay, get a new set of Delkevics, and you’re all set to ride again.

Seriously, Glad you are ok. Gravel is no fun!

Less seriously, I guess it was just a sign you weren't meant to go over the edge yesterday.

Good luck with sourcing the replacement parts.

Ugh, I hate gravel!! So glad you came out of it with nothing worse than a good campfire story (and may some sore bits for a couple of days). "Whew" indeed!

Glad you are OK. I am paranoid about sand and gravel on the road. I have never been down on a street bike, (knock on wood), but can't count the times I have been down on a dirt bike. I do think a lot of miles on a dirt bike and dual-sport on the fire roads in Northern California has made me a better rider and certainly a more cautious rider.

Glad you're OK Jeff. My one low side was sort of similar, i.e. gravel, but it was all my fault... lack of attention at 4:30am, on a dark country road, with a stop sign that showed up out of nowhere.

Total bummer, for sure.

Just glad you are okay and you were able to ride it home! :thumb:
