What size thread on RAM ball??

Just wondering what size thread on a RAM ball I would need for my Migsel Dash mount?? I have looked on different websites but could not find a definitive answer. The Migsel Dash mount I have came with the bike but the RAM ball that goes with it was not include. I intend on mounting a ZUMO 550 eventually on the Migsel and that needs a 1 inch ball, but what about the thread size? It doesn't specify the thread size anywhere.

Ram makes em in many sizes.

Maybe quicker to guestimate and pick up a couple bolts of likely suspects from HDepot or Lowes?

1/4-20 is the standard for cameras. If your unit is the same as cameras, there it is.

Mine was 1/4-20 female mounted thru the center of the steering stem.
There are a few metric as well.


I don't know what migsel uses though.

Actually a ram mount can come in a variety of thread sizes. Do you have the part #? For instance, RAM-B-349U uses an M10x1.25 pitch (like your mirror stem hole if you have on on your handlebars)

The migsel mount uses the 3/8x16. Yes, I have one, so I've had to buy the correct size ball.
