Where does this go ?

Got loads of bits off my 1100 but can't find where this goes - any ideas?

I think it is the vent hose for the fuel cap. The part with the t goes toward the ground. It should have another short section of hose on it. The t is there to make sure the fuel can vent in the event the end gets clogged. PART DIAGRAM number 36 an 23.
