Boots Tourmaster Solution WP Air Boots

I've used the older version of these and they were nice and waterproof, the only thing I didn't like was the foot opening was a bit small so made it tougher to put on and the tread on the soles was kinda thin so the bottoms looked more worn out... looks like they have more tread now which is good, they're a great value.

I've had these boots for over a year and they are great. I have a "c" width foot so they're just a bit wide, but that has never been a problem or uncomfortable. They are waterproof. Purchased mine from Tellico Plains M/C Outfitters at the best price I could find on the net. Wear'um year round.

I have the newer pair now. I'm a little out off by the new design, the flap that covers the zipper will catch the centerstand when you try and put down your sidestand... just a PITA more than anything else. Other than that, they are a decent boot.

I haven't worn the new version but have worn the previous versions for about 5 years. I've edited my post because I didn't realize there was a brandy new version so everything below is above the previous version. I can't say I'm thrilled with the reflective patch being moved up so high- my riding pants will cover that up. This looks like its now geared for the sportbike crowd who tuck in their pants into the boot top :%

(Old Boot Comments)
Generally I get a new pair every year~18 months as the soles do wear down quicker than the interior wears out. Comfortable enough to walk around in that I sometimes forget to change into sneakers at work. Waterproof for all day downpour riding. The shift patch on the left boot is nice and thick but not so thick to be an issue with the shifter. I've never had a problem with the boot flap catching the centerstand, pretty much my riding pants cover most of the boot.

However
The leather is rather thin and I'm getting the leftside hot foot. I've tried various socks- a thick coolmax or other wicking sock helps but I'm at the point that I'm looking at other boots with a thicker covering. Maybe one of the combat boots. It's only a problem during hot weather 85+ and after running for awhile. Using the MCL highway blades is the only relief I get.

But, I think it's a good boot at a good price. I usually can buy it right around $110-120 (not counting tax). The fit has always been perfect for me and no problems with ordering it online the last time around.

I had the older version of these and was not impressed. I have also had other Tourmaster stuff and would not buy them again as I find the quality is poor. As Mellow said the opening is very small and it's hard to get your foot inside. The boots are comfortable enough for walking but they are not even close to being waterproof. As the ad says "water repellant" (for a little while at least.)

I wore mine for about 2 seasons and the soles were coming off, the liner inside had a hole near the heel so everytime you put the boot on the liner would end up around your heel :(

The new one may be better but this time I paid more and got some Gortex boots which have not let water through yet.

My roughly 3 year old Solutions have been waterproof, comfy in warm or cold, and affordable. Haven't seen the new ones yet.

Same here with that problem. They stayed waterproof but like others said hard to get foot into boot.

I have the older model also. Found my pair to be waterproof and comfortable all day. While these are not for someone with wider than average feet due to being tight, I find them fine for getting on and off. I have heard of some who have the issue with the inner liner pulling away around the ankle but I have not had that with my pair. I *have* had that happen with my older Alpine Stars so it's not an issue reserved for TM boots. I would buy these again. I had the shorter Response boot and liked them a lot but they were damaged in a low side so replaced with the Solutions.

So where can I pick up a pair? I have been on the NewEnough wait list ("extended backorder") for a month or so.

I have the non-Air version of these boots, and my only complaint is that they are a bit warm. They are one of the few wide boots out there.

I have the Tourmaster Solution (non air), and they are comfortable and waterproof. I have ridden in hours of heavy rain and my feet have always stayed dry. They are also comfortable enough to walk around for extended periods.

My feet get a bit warm wearing them in the Summer, and a bit cool in the Winter (as compared to my steel toe leather boots that I use as riding boots).

Overall, I am quite happy with them.

Okay, did I miss the memo on these boots? I'm looking for some new boots. These fit the price/performance AND recommendation criteria. They're certainly cheaper than the SIDI brand -- and, yes, I realize you get what you pay for.

However, EVERYWHERE I go online the Tourmaster boots are OUT OF STOCK or unavailable, backordered, etc. This is true for both the "Tourmaster Solution WP Air" and the "Tour Master Solution WP 2.0 Road" Boots.

I seem to remember reading something about a new version coming, but isn't that the 2.0 model? Can anyone clarify the situation?

Thanks for the links, sherob. One more question ...how is the sizing? The KneeSlider source appears to be someone using ebay. If the size is wrong, that's a BIG problem returning them.

Seem to run true to size for me... I wear 10.5 usually, but these came in 11's... A bit bigger for extra socks in winter. :)

I have super wide feet. 10.5 4E I am just now wearing them out of the box. An hour later they are loosening up well and I'm sure they will work. I ordered 11 Wide.

I wore out the originals and wore my replacements on a quick 1000 mile turnaround to Ohio, arriving home today. The new ones have a much better sole. They do run narrow, but so do I! Excellent value boot that will keep your tootsies dry.
