350k on my 1300

Some day when I grow up, I hope to be competing in that arena! congrats to you.

That is just amazing that you have done that on one bike without any majors repairs. :bow1: Now the question of the day how many miles will it go and how long will you keep that beast???

At the moment, you are on top of the mileage podium as far as a single person on a single ST1300.. congrats!

member sporttourer aka Alex Schmitt has 350k on an ST1100..

I saw Alex at Moonshine and IIRC he was just about to hit 389K.

Tony, congrats on the longevity of your bike. Quite the accomplishment. Hard to believe that you're on the original clutch but I suspect riding style dictates wear more than anything else. At what point did you change out the u-joint? Was it replaced due to need or did you simply want to be proactive about it???

350k....amazing! You are living my dream. Congrats.

Thank you for sharing your mechanical history with the miles, it helps all of us know what to expect.

"...keep the beast?" Until she decides she has had enough.

I'm not aggressive. Most of the miles are highway commuting. I'm a steady speed rider.
The joint was replaced because I felt a vibration after trying everything else.

A man and his machine after my own heart.
That's more than 14 trips around the world.
Kudos for the inspiration,
Robert :bow1:

I wonder after 350,000 miles are as in good of shape as the bike? Lol
Seriously though, congrats on the major milestone. I wish you many more safe miles with her.

Tony,

Other than the guy I had traded my wing for his 2003 ST1300, you were the 1st ST-Owner I'd ever met in person and ridden with back in 2004 while on my way to my 1st WeSTOC in Minden, NV. I had just started this site a few months earlier. Wow, how time flies.

Joe,
Time sure flies by. I remember that day. We ride ACH, it was a gorgeous morning and a good ride. What time did you leave Seligman, we met up around 9 in the morning.

I can't remember what I did yesterday and you want me to remember that? Lol.. early I'm sure as I was excited and it was my first visit to CA since being born, in Ventura. I'm thinking maybe 4 or 5 am, lf that sounds right.
