Here are some of the things you have to avoid to ride in this kind of weather. All taken on today's ride
Hey Paul, on Merry’s morning commute yesterday, her car thermometer read -21 air temp. Does that count? No doubt. Almost 50° here yesterday, 26° this morning, 60° tomorrow and 75° on Monday. Temps like a roller coaster!
Did she get, and keep, the car up/over on 2 wheels only for 15 miles? Then I'd say give it to her.Hey Paul, on Merry’s morning commute yesterday, her car thermometer read -21 air temp. Does that count?
She said it was questionable a couple times....Did she get, and keep, the car up/over on 2 wheels only for 15 miles? Then I'd say give it to her.
Tell her I could be bribed with some of her bacon candy!Hey Paul, on Merry’s morning commute yesterday, her car thermometer read -21 air temp. Does that count?
Not sure at this point, but after mentioning this to her, I think it’s on her radarTell her I could be bribed with some of her bacon candy!
Boy, you're really living on the edge Bob. What has retirement done to you?Looking ahead the rest of the month I decided to unhook my HeatDemon heat controller and stash the cable safely away. I removed the Y-cable from my jacket (not that it was any more than threaded through the arms between the liners anyway). If the temps just happen to deviate from predicted estimates I can always plug it all in easily anyway but I am running "light" now and perhaps I won't even need any of my extra liners until next cold season.
I know... tempting fate.
Yea it was another 50 degree day here, although raining for today's ride. Took off the handlebar mitts, left the heated jacket liner at home..didn't even use the heated grips. Thinkit's about over. Surely don't think we will see anything lower than 14 (my current low temp for this season) for the rest of the year.Looking ahead the rest of the month I decided to unhook my HeatDemon heat controller and stash the cable safely away.
