Im leaving boston

Hope you have calm winds on the stretch between Kansas and Colorado. Anytime I've gone that way, the cross winds have given me a beating. Make sure you fill up every opportunity you can especially if you are taking the smaller roads, the cross winds will chew up your miles/gallon.
Enjoying your report and pictures.

Yea, last year i spent two days in a truck stop motel in kansas city ks. Seems kansas was making a funny, sleeting, snowing , raining and blowing all at once!
i ate some lousy food there! Will be heading there in the next few days. I remember the afternoon gusts well
If u want gas problems, try utah on a sunday morning!
Thanks

ah... brings back memories from when I used to ride a motorcycle...

You are a rock's throw from some really good roads if you have the time. See if you can find 232 off of 79 toward the reservoir just south of Bumpus Mills.
Then take 147 back to 49. I could keep you busy in Tennessee for days ...
Thanks! Im in miss now! Heading to n orleans tomorrow! There is no shortage of nice roads here.

In missisippi! Its a little humid and feels great. Heading for new orleans tomorrow. Actually, im not too interested in n.o. Its a starting point for me to follow the coast west to texas. It looks like there are some nice things to see
The bike felt great and it wanted to go fast! Had to reign it in!18F961E8-706F-4E70-9E0D-5A107D56A197.jpeg
