This thread could have been called, "Trailer wiring to ST1300 - best practices? - Redux".
Got ahead of myself... cuz I can't find no stinking HITCH! Don't need so steenking wiring if I ain't got no dang hitch.
I've called California Sidecar, who makes the Escapade trailer I'm buying, and all their Alabama dealers, and HitchDoc, and Open Road Outfitters. Had to email the Open Road guy, Dale, per his recorded voice message.
Next I guess I'll call Bushtec in TN, then I dunno.
The folks in the Frozen North (the beer hunters) have a company... Darnay or something, I've seen it mentioned in my first trailer wiring thread, but surely to Took! there's someone somewhere in the USA who still has a new one lying around waiting to be sold. This is REDONKULOUS.
OK, I admit to being impatient sometimes, but it's still redonkulous that it's so challenging to find one motorcycle hitch that fits the ST1300.
*sigh*
Rant over.
Any ideas?
p.s. - for those northern neighbors -- did I spell Took right?
