I saw a post from someone this forum who was rebuilding motor assembly.
Can anyone tell me who he is ?
I have questions for him.
I have bad unit with another with good parts .
Hoping I could reach out to him.
Thanks all.

Cannot recall his name, but it may be BikeQuip or something like that for his business.
I want to say his screen name, or name, is Steve-something but I came up bupkus looking just now.
Might try a search for windscreen motor, or similar.
I'm lame.
And so is my brain... sorry.
He may or may not be in Vendors, if I find him or his posts I'll report back.

Thanks for reply.
I have seen Bike Quip site
Thats shipping to UK from New York and back.
I was hoping the post I saw was based in the US.
I'll keep looking

The only recent post that I saw was this one, and he simply had the rubber skirt protruding from the top cowl. AFAIK he was not doing any work to his unit. If you have parts, you might just run an ad in the For Sale forum. People are always buying these mechanisms for parts.

It sounds to me like you want advice about swapping parts from a donor unit to repair a defective unit.

The person who comes to mind who has done this several times is @SupraSabre
