Check out the other post I made where I gave you the links for the manual.
I never get asked to log in.
When you get into the app, the screen will start on the Community page, but you'll see at the bottom, some tabs.
The Community page seems to have downloads from 2020 on mine. I suspect they are just resident in the app now. No data is being refreshed.
The Route page gives you a world map. It probably is sourced from a 3rd party than HaloCam. Keep in mind, the HaloCam company folded during the supply chain issues during the lockdowns. I doubt the Route page even does anything for you while moving.
The meat of the program is there on the next two tabs. DVR lets you see what the cameras see in real time. That's helpful to find out quickly if your cameras are aimed properly.
Media takes you to the screen above. Note there are two tabs at the top. Phone and DVR. DVR is the one you want, because that's where you'll see your videos.
More takes you to a settings page where you can adjust resolution, white balance, etc. The User Guide is there too, but you can only see something if you're connected to the HaloCam DVR.
I noticed something while taking that screenshot, that the program allows a watermark. You can include the Time and Speed data. Again, my guess is the GPS function doesn't do anything because I have it set to show the speed and it doesn't.
For what it is...a dash camera...it still functions great. You won't get all the bells and whistles that were possible when the company was still in business. But if what you want is to record someone running into you, it'll do that just fine.
