Nice pic of the B-47 swept wing pylon engine nuke bomber. Arguably the grandmother of all modern jet plane designs. Good looking bike too!

Trouble finding parking at the ST Francis, Ks, motorcycle museum ...

Then must have made a wrong turn somewhere...

Tom

You will find my old 1979 CB650 in St Francis Moto Museum. Donated by Aurora Honda in Colorado.

This one?

Yes, that is the one. I Traded it in at Aurora Honda about 14 years ago for a NT700, and Aurora Honda gave it to the museum to display. Aurora Honda has a benefit ride every year out to the Museum in the late Spring.

I took a close look at it as I had a Vetter Quicksilver on my Yamaha 650.

Tom
It was the second 1979 CB650 that I had owned as the First one I bought brand new left over in Feb 1982 as my first ever motorcycle. I tried to set my second 79 CB650 up as close to my first one. This picture is of my first and the only pic that has survived.

I pulled the :bl13: out of the garage and did my 50+mile loop to the gas station. ;)

This time, I even stopped and took some pictures! :)

The whole ride was about 52 miles.

I'm thinking of riding the 2004 up to WeSTOC this year. :think1:

I also had a 82 V-45 Sabre, but in Red

V45.jpg

My brother, Dave, wore out 4 different V45 Sabres, 3 82's and a 83, (that I sold him, before I bought that Canadian V45)!

They were good bikes, as long as you knew how to work on them! ;)

Before our ST1300s, we both had 84 V65 Sabres.

Mine was on the right, and yes, it was an 84, I added the '85 plastic/tank to it. ;)

From Chatham to Lucan to the Donnelly's Cafe, Taphouse, Pizzeria, and Mjs Catering (I had to take a breath there), for lunch with my sister and her husband. I even got my lovely wife to ride on the back with me.

Then we did a quick visit to Murals in Metal just north of town. Great selection and lovely location.

Great menu, lovely staff and a wonderful day.
