Hello everyone from the north of Spain. My name is Pablo and I have had a 2008 ST 1300 with 26,000 kilometres for less than a month and I regret not having had it before. I would have loved not to have made the mistake of buying other bikes before. It is quite perfect, except for some improvement in fuel consumption in urban traffic and I am sure I will continue to assess new disadvantages, but its ride comfort, its docility in curves and the quality of the ride on trips are outstanding. Greetings.

Welcome from Northumberland, England.
We've ridden a lot of Northern Spain from the Costa da Morte to the Pyrenees. A nice place to ride.
Although all the roads aren't twisty.

Further north of the "Costa de la muerte" (Galicia) is the "Costa Artabra". This coast runs from the town of Ferrol to Cariño, there is a route of viewing points where the "Garita de Herbeira" is located, there are the highest cliffs in the open sea in Europe, that area is the Spanish Alaska..!!!The route you have done is very interesting with many more points of interest than can be covered...IMG_20241018_183547.jpg

Welcome.
I just returned from your area. Great riding!!
It should be noted that this is one of the best areas in Spain for riding a motorcycle. However, just going down towards Madrid 300 kilometres, everything is always straight, always flat. When I lived there, the wheels were always worn out and square, the sidewalls were always brand new, only the truly passionate have motorcycles on straight and flat ground. Now I finally live in the infinite curve and I am totally happy riding a motorcycle... greetings!!!

I believe it, it was abandoned for 26,000kms with poor quality oil and minimal maintenance. I already have the spark plugs and air filter done, two oil changes with 0w40 amsoil 4stroke, the first to give it a good rinse and the second so it can do its magic, Valvulina, Helibars, I also wrapped the manifolds with fiberglass tape, I repaired a puncture and left the valves angled at 90° mounted, I cleaned the entire engine with the steam engine and many other little things, I have good consumption and I am not going to check the valves for now, but maybe I will check the vacuum synchronism..!!! I am passionate about it, I am aware of its quality and I am extremely nostalgic knowing that machines like this will never come back... a big hug, your ST is impressive..!!!
