In my younger days, I worked at the company that made those sorts of lunch boxes.
Or the Sears catalog to make your Christmas list!
Weren't those also used for "gender studies" back in the day...Or the Sears catalog to make your Christmas list!
And we were being 'green' - recycling before it became 'fashionable' ...Walked the road ditches looking for some
On a good day could pick up $1 worth
There once was a time where they sent out a big book,Heavy Sigh! I miss having physical phone books.

They kept people honest and polite. There once was a time where they sent out a big book,
containing your and everyone else's assassination coordinates...![]()
Yeah, people couldn't hide behind a phone book like they do a keyboard ...They kept people honest and polite.

I think about Adam(SoloTotocoyote) often and wonder what he is up to. He is one talented guy. I remember when he rode a 50cc Yamaha scooter a couple of hundred miles to Seastoc. When I had a memory that was 'reliable', I could plot a whole route in my head and then go over, remembering all the landmarks along the way.
But with 'brain cramps' becoming more common, I've had to start using the GPS.

I dropped Adam an email to ask him what he has been up to. Not sure the email address is working anymore. I'll let everyone know if he gets back to me.I think about Adam(SoloTotocoyote) often and wonder what he is up to. He is one talented guy. I'm still a fan of taping the day's route to the gas tank. Downside is road construction with nebulous re-routes signs. When I had a memory that was 'reliable', I could plot a whole route in my head and then go over, remembering all the landmarks along the way.

FWIW, I went with the Fodsport 'chinese' GPS and it has managed to get me all around the globe despite the fact it is not a Garmin.I'm still a fan of taping the day's route to the gas tank. Downside is road construction with nebulous re-routes signs.
Our last trip through northeast Texas into rural Arkansas almost convinced me to go the gps route. Long shoulder-less rural roads with intersections unmarked. Had I not kept up with miles between turns, it would have been a much longer trip. I'm considering a gps.
I remember those days! Used to boggle my mind! When I had a memory that was 'reliable', I could plot a whole route in my head and then go over, remembering all the landmarks along the way.
