Hello guys I’m on my way to work running a little late and as I accelerated it felt like I misfired then over the next 500 yards or so I started losing power so I started looking for a place to pull over and when I came to a complete stop it died on me after a couple attempts it started back then died again so I pushed it to the store and it will start but doesn’t want to run and when I give it a lot of gas it will move but just barely and wants to die when I let off the gas I’m afraid to leave the store because I’m in the country and the closest thing to me is 5 miles away also I can no longer hear the whining of the engine that the normal engine usually makes that iconic st engine sound another thing the oil light is on when it idles and as I give it gas it flickers until about 3.5 k rpm’s it goes off

You have to include where you are. I need more information on what exactly that misfire felt/sounded like. To the untrained observer it sounds like your fuel pump gave up the ghost. #RIP
Five way t clogged... Mouse in air filter. Grounded wire. We assume a st1300..??? Clogged fuel line.....

Just made it home guys it’s not fuel pump I don’t think I’m in gurley alabama sorry for the confusion and it was like I was accelerating and chopped the throttle for about a stroke or maybe 2 and then a constant deceleration

Yes ST1300 it’s an 03 would the 5 way t cause it to stop running??

If it loses vacuum through one of the five lines off the T yes it would cause a loss of power.
I say it is the fuel pump or a hose on the fuel pump that has deteriorated. I had a similar incident and it acted the same way. I have an 03 with about 98k on it. I actually had both happen. First time I replaced the fuel pump. All was well for a while. I had bought an aftermarket fuel pump that came with hoses and replaced them when I installed the pump. Only to discover that the hose was not fuel submersible and it deteriorated over time. I replaced the hose with one rated for that was fuel submersible and have had no issues since.

Yup. Always use OEM Honda hoses.
