The host did some server moves/upgrades etc... as they did that the site had some issues.

They fixed the setting on the server-side but I also decided to upgrade the software version. I still have some tweaks to do but all basic functions should be working now.

Yeah, they upgraded the php version so the file acts as a warning that the software won't work but the problem was the server side, even though was the correct version, wasn't set in a config-type file as that version - I'm guessing. Once they synced that up it came back up.

Thanks Joe , I thought my laptop was having a hissy fit! All sorts of strange things happened when I tried to log in this morning....

"What's New" still not working for me with Chrome, it is downloading a file when clicking on it (but works in FIrefox).

I don't think there are too many people who can do what Mellow does ... For free! If anything happens to him he will be hard to replace and the next guy may not be so mellow about fixing the broken site. Many thanks Joe and stay safe and sane!

You'll likely have to clear your cache on any browser to clear up some issues. I've been working on some work issues so I'll get to the other little stuff as I can. At least it's back up.

I'm always glad when it's back up. <ducks, and hopes not to get banned...>

What's New isn't new. It's been there for a good while. My browser is bookmarked to New Posts. When this started I was getting downloads of bits of software or more likely text clippings but no access. Using a different browser about an hour ago got me in. So I cleared the cache of my goto and viola! (Yes I know.) It's back.

What's New and New Posts used to be synonymous here but at the moment they aren't, at least in the mobile implementation.

New Posts shows exactly that, while What's New (including the lightning bolt icon on the mobile interface, which I'm using at the moment) shows a list of new events, under a subsequent that includes New Posts.

On my desktop browser What's New did that same thing yesterday morning but by evening it went straight to New Posts, as it did before the software update.
